Welcome to Ladakh. A mountainous region bounded by the Karakoram Range from the north and the Great Himalayas in the south. The environment is enormous and spectacular. The barren landscape, the mountain ranges, the jagged peaks, the spectacular views, the shooting stars, the silence, everything makes Ladakh quite a place to visit.
Often described as ‘Moonland’ due to the unique lunar landscape, Ladakh was once an independent mountain kingdom for close to a millennium. Leh, the royal capital, was a major crossroad of Asia and a stopping point on the ancient migration routes of the trans-Himalayas, connecting Central Asia with the Indian sub-continent. This is a land that seldom fails to baffle or surprise due to it’s overall grandeur and magnificence.
Ladakh, the land of jagged peaks and barren landscape is alluring and awe-inspiring.
